ONE DROP is focusing its action on three areas of the world that are facing serious water problems: Central America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. In each region, the Foundation has selected three contiguous countries facing similar problems of poverty and water access.
This form of strategic planning that focuses on three countries in each region, creates a ripple effect and fosters exchanges and dialogue among partners and local communities. Moreover, the program's geographic concentration gives a boost to the commercial networks used by agricultural producers who benefit from the project. The positive experiences can serve as a catalyst for the population of an entire region.
