ONE DROP joins the End Water Poverty coalition

Back to News

To continue expressing its ongoing commitment to providing water for all, ONE DROP joins efforts with the End Water Poverty coalition.

As you know, billions of people are living in unhealthy conditions, conditions that were eliminated in rich countries a long time ago. Each day, an estimated 5,000 children die because they do not have access to safe water or live in regions where there are no adequate sanitation systems. The objective of End Water Poverty is to modify current policies and practices using the following principles: equality, poverty reduction, sustainability of services, and water resources and accountability.

By supporting the End Water Poverty coalition, ONE DROP chooses to make its voice heard among global leaders. We are asking them to do what’s needed to improve the lives of billions of people. This means giving these populations what they have always been entitled to: safe drinking water in sufficient quantity and basic sanitation systems.

Next April, leaders worldwide will meet in Washington for the first high-level meeting on sanitation and the water crisis, hosted by UNICEF.

Join ONE DROP and the End Water Poverty coalition and help make a difference!
