AQUA: From Fort Worth to the rest of the world!

From October 31 to November 3, 2009, members of the ONE DROP™  team visited Fort Worth, Texas, to promote the AQUA experience during the annual conference of the Association of Science Technology-Centers (ASTC).

Exceptional visibility

ASTC’s annual conference, held this year in Fort Worth, Texas, brings together representatives from scientific museums from the four corners of the Earth. ONE DROP seized this unique opportunity to present AQUA, which was hugely well received by conference attendees. We have every reason to believe that the interest expressed by those in attendance will translate into signed agreements with museums around the world. Our ultimate goal is, however, to extend our reach and raise awareness of the plight of water.

An extraordinary exhibit

Those gathered were especially impressed by AQUA’s artistic dimension and the emotions it stirred. Since scientific exhibits usually apply a more conventional and traditional approach, the poetry of our message and our quest to highlight images that evoke the beauty of water enabled AQUA to set itself apart from other exhibits on the same theme. The 360° projection and the interplay of plunging virtual waves provided participants with a unique experience.

AQUA everywhere, AQUA here at home

AQUA will soon be hitting the road to set up shop in several cities across Canada and abroad. We will be posting more information on AQUA’s next stops shortly. Stay tuned!
