A new sanitary complex in Sheohar

Surabhi Kumari is a 14 years old student at Parsauni Baij Middle School (Sheohar, India). When she started school this year, there was no proper sanitation facility. The students, especially adolescent girls, faced several problems including not having a private place to go to the bathroom. In 2014, a new sanitary complex was constructed at her school with the support of Water For People and ONE DROPTM. Surabhi and her friends are now very happy and excited to have this facility. It has been observed that attendance of girl students has increased since the construction of this toilet.
