The famous Belgian poker player Pierre Neuville was recently one of the November Nine finalists at the famous World Series of Poker (WSOP). And during this world championship, he made us really proud by presenting One Drop to the millions of viewers in more than 50 countries.
Because of his unique story, he is an inspiration to One Drop. Neuville started his career developing board games, then became the Vice Chairman of Hasbro. However, after a serious surgery, he decided to return to his love for poker. Since then, what he’s accomplished in the poker world, which culminates with his impressive record result in the WSOP Main Event at the age of 72, is an example for all poker fans.
As is the case with many poker players who care about charity causes, Neuville will go on playing around the world and showing the One Drop logo in all the top poker tournaments. “When I got to know their organization and their mission, I was instantly moved. I am very proud to become one of their flagships,” says Neuville. As WSOP’s Official Charitable Partner, One Drop has raised over $13M since 2012 thanks to the generosity of the poker community. “It feels so great to be part of that movement and to picture children, from all over the world, getting access to safe water for the first time because of our donations.”
