15 years of turning water into action
Art is universal, but access to safe water is not. Today, 2 billion people globally do not have access to safe water at home.
Water, people, and art are at the heart of a better, more sustainable world, where communities empower themselves and can drive sustainable impact. This is why, at the One Drop Foundation, we aim to ensure sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene for communities everywhere through innovative partnerships, creativity and the power of art. Our world is changing, so must we.
Land Acknowledgement
The One Drop Foundation acknowledges Inuit, Métis, and First Nations Peoples across Canada as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters since time immemorial. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are with us today, those who have gone before us, and the youth that inspire us.
Over 15 years, the One Drop Foundation’s work has expanded beyond connecting households and communities to water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions. One Drop is working towards achieving several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is through partnerships and working with comunities that we can make a lasting impact in Canada, and around the world.

One Drop Foundation’s Social Art for Behaviour ChangeTM (SABC) approach creates locally inspired programs that modify behaviours towards healthy practices around Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. We empower communities to take ownership of projects over time, which ensures their sustainability.
Our approach has gained recognition from some of the most important organizations.
